I was born in Ulgham England on the 16th day of April,1856; I now reside at Harrisburg, Illinois. I emigrated to the United States of America from England on the Vessel The Majestic my last foreign residence was Ulgham England. It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate state, or sovereignty, and particularly to King Edward VII, of which I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of New York, State of New York on or about the 10th day of October, 1903.
